“The Turf Masters acquisition allows us to expand our presence and build the TruGreen brand in one of our most important and strategic regions of the country,” said TruGreen spokeswoman Amy Simpson. “We’re excited about the growth opportunities the merger presents us.”
The purchase was about four months in the making. Turf Masters’ revenue and customer count were not disclosed.
The majority of Turf Masters employees have elected to stay on board. Rebranding is already underway, with the Turf Masters website donning the TruGreen brand. Customers should see “a quick transition,” Simpson said.
